Bridgestone said Thursday it would establish a technical center inThailand, as part of its strategy to supervise product development, technology management and quality control for the company's operations in the Asia-Pacific region, according to a media source.
The center, reportedly to be named Bridgestone Asia Pacific Technical Center Co., will be set up in aBangkoksuburb and is expected to have about 100 employees by 2015.
