Cheng Shin starts construction of TBR tire project
Recently, Cheng Shin Rubber (China) Ind.Co., Ltd announced that they plans to build up a 2 million units/year of product line to produce all steel TBR(truck and bus radial) tires.
This project, with a total investment of 350 million dollars, is schemed to complete by the end of November, 2012.
After completion, the project will provide new job opportunities for 2000 people and create 5 billion yuan of output value every year.
Cheng-Shin Rubber Ind. Co., Ltd., located in Kunshan city of Jiangsu Province, was established in July, 1993. It has US$225 million of registered capital and US$ 564 of overall investment. It mainly produces sedans and light trucks radial tire of two brands: Cheng Shin and Maxxis with an annual production capacity of 17 million tires.
