Jiangsu forges largest wheel hub production base in China

“The Sixth Cross-Strait Aluminum Wheel Industry Alliance”was recently held in Siyang, Jiangsu Province. More than 200 wheel hub enterprises and the subordinated companies from all over the world got together to discuss how to develop wheel hub industry here.
"Siyang is making great effort to construct a Green Industry System, within Green energy, Green lights, Green equipment, etc. As a principle part in Green equipment industry, Siyang's wheel hub production developed very rapidly."said Zhao Qiliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Siyang's Economic Development Zone.
There are three wheel hub enterprises and eight subordinated companies settling in Siyang and a wheel hub industrial cluster is formed preliminarily, he added.
Jiangsu Mind Aluminum Co. Ltd. Is located in Siyang's economic zone. In its workshop, the wheel hub with the famous auto brand marks of Benz, BMW, Toyota etc. are displayed neatly in the presentation area.
Ma Tianlong, the company's manager said: "Mind Aluminum Co. Ltd settled in Siyang in January, 2011. With a yearly output of 2 million units and annual sales volume of 600 million yuan, the company mainly supplies production for the big auto companies abroad."
He Weixiang, the Deputy General Manager of Jingsu Xinanchi Aluminum Co. Ltd., is showing a group of merchants from Taiwan and Malaysia looking around the factory .
He Weixiang explained the reason why they selected Siyang to settle down: "Siyang is relatively close to aluminum plants in Shandong Province and Henan Province. Labor force is abundant here and natural gas supply is plentiful. All of these are exceptional advantages for setting up factory here."
"Besides, the government is trying to establish cooperation with the local technical school, and preparing to start the Wheel Professional Talents Training Project. This will further promote the laborer's technical level." He said.
With the large wheel hub producers settling in Siyang, othe subordinated companies like aluminium sheet processing, mould processing, product packaging etc also come to Siyang. Siyang County's auto wheel hub industry has already formed a cluster both in technology and scale, Zhao qiliang said.
"We surely have higher plan and goal for future development. Now, over 8 wheel hub enterprises settled here. We plan to double the number-- attracting over 15 enterprises to come to Siyang and promote sales volume to 3 billion yuan through 2-years' effort,." Zhao said. " Our objective is not only to establish Siyang as the Wheel hub industrial base in China, but also to set up one of largest industrial bases in the wold, and finally construct it as a wheel hub industry Technology R&D Center. "
Siyang government has formulated a series of policies to develop the wheel hub industry.
