Yokohama Rubber changes Chinese name

Koichi Tanaka, the new Chairman of Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., recently declared his new operating strategies, and announced to change the company’s Chinese name from “Heng bin Rubber (China)Co., Ltd.,” to “Youkehaoma Rubber Co., Ltd.,”, which is pronounced more closed to “Yokohama”.
Correspondingly, all its brands in China changed their names to “Youkehaoma”, including its subsidiary companies’ name and business brands.
"China plays an important role in global auto parts market and it is a stimulus for Yokohama to maintain performance growth. Therefore, it is essentially important for Yokohama to realize breakthrough in China and make a big step further." Koichi Tanaka said.
