Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen targets annual sales at 480,000 units in 2012

Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile, a joint venture between Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor and French PSA Peugeot Citroen, has set its annual sales target at 480,000 units for 2012.
If the target is fulfilled, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen will post a robust growth of 18.8 percent from 2011.
The automaker aims to sell at least 110,000 motor vehicles in the first quarter this year.
The company sold some 404,000 vehicles in 2011, up 8.24 percent year on year, exceeding the industry average.
