Changan Ford targets 2012 annual sales at 440,000 units, up 4.8 pct on yr

Changan Ford aims to sell 440,000 motor vehicles in 2012, at a growth of 4.8 percent from 2011.
The company sold 420,000 vehicles last year.
Changan Ford's new assembly plant in Chongqing municipality, Southwest China, is expected to complete construction this year, and its first product is set to be the new generation of Ford Focus.
Located in Chonqing, Changan Ford is a joint venture between Ford Motor Co. and Chang'an Motors.
