Dadi Chemo-Industrial mulls over 20mln unit/y radial tire project in Ningxia
Ningxia Dadi Chemo-Industrial Co. recently announced a plan to open a radial tire plant in Shizuishan city ofNorthwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the largest of its kind in Ningxia, said a company source.
The radial tire plant, covering an area of 2,200 mu (or 146.67 hectares) and involving an investment of 8 billion yuan, has a designed annual capacity of 20.10 million units – 10 million all-steel tires, 10 million semi-steel tires, and 100,000 aviation radial tires.
Construction works on the Phase One of the project is scheduled to start in March 2013 and two production lines are expected to be formed by the end of next year, with an output capacity of 2 million all-steel radial tires and 10 million semi-steel radial tires a year, respectively.
The project is expected to generate 20 billion yuan in sales revenues annually and offer more than 10,000 jobs once being completed.
