JAC to invest USD450 mln to open plant in Brazil

China Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called JAC) plans to invest 450 million US dollars to open its first plant in Brazil, reported by China Business News, citing the announcement of Sergio Habib, president of JAC’s Brazil operations, on October 7.
Construction on the new plant is scheduled to start on November 28.
The plant is expected to come on stream in the second half of 2014, with annual capacity of 100,000 units.
