Statistics showed that there were 3.2 million tons of natural rubber produced in Thailand in the first three quarters of 2020, yearly decreasing 5.3% compared to the same period of 2019.
Divided by varieties, smoked rubber production year-on-year declined 13.1%, and standard rubber yearly decreased 1.4%; latex production yearly dropped 5%, and synthetic rubber yearly decreased 8.3%.
In the first three quarters, there have been 468,000 tons of natural rubber consumed in Thailand, yearly down by 1.1%.
In the third quarter of 2020, there were 450,000 tons of natural rubber stocked in Thailand. Amongst, smoked rubber took 6.1%, standard rubber took 13.5%, latex took 17% and others took 63.4%.
