China synthetic rubber import decreased 10% in 2018

China imported 1,223,000 tons of synthetic rubber in 2018, yearly decreasing 10%, and exported 153,000 tons, yearly increasing 9%.

China imported 591,000 tons of natural rubber latex, year-on-year increasing 20% compared to the same period of 2017.

At the same time, China imported 170,000 tons of synthetic rubber latex, yearly decreasing 4%.

In 2018, China imported 2,950,000 tons of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, yearly rising by 7%. Amongst, China imported 2,005,000 tons of natural rubber, yearly down by 13%, and 114,000 tons of compound rubber, yearly down by 5%.
