Latest statistics from China's General Administration of Customs shows that China imported 217,325 tons of natural rubber in January 2015, decreasing 23.4% compared to December 2014, year-on-year diving 23.4% compared to the same period in 2014.
Meanwhile, China imported 133,760 tons of synthetic rubber at the same period, monthly increasing 3%, but yearly decreasing 6%.
China is the largest natural rubber importer in the world, mainly from Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
