China Apr. natural rubber imports stay flat m-o-m, customs

China imported 230,000 metric tons (tonnes) of natural rubber in April, basically flat with that in the previous month, according to the latest data provided by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Wednesday.

In the first four months of this year, the country's natural rubber imports surged 32.7 percent year on year to 860,000 tonnes.

Meanwhile, China imported 523,689 tonnes of synthetic rubber in the January-April period, up 9.6 percent year on year, including 130,215 tonnes imported in April.
