Vietnam Apr. rubber exports expected flat at 50,000 t

Vietnam is expected to have exported around 50,000 metric tons of rubber in April, which stays unchanged from March in terms of both volume and value, according to the country’s statistics office.

The monthly exports were valued at USD130 million in April, up slightly from USD129 million in March.

The Southeast Asian country exported around 240,000 tonnes of rubber valued at USD639 million in the first four months of this year, down 10.7% in volume compared with the same period of last year.
