India to start anti-dumping investigation on China's aluminum wheels

Recently, India’s Aluminum Products Association, representing its aluminum alloy wheel manufacturers, submitted an application to India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on aluminum wheel imported during October, 2010 and September, 2011 from China (including China, Taiwan Region), Thailand, and Korea, concerning aluminum alloy wheel of 12-24 inches in diameter, said China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME).

If is in file, it will be the third trade remedy investigation China’s aluminum wheel industry suffers, following cases of Europe Union and Australia.

CCCME issued early warning to the related enterprises, requiring them to contact the Chamber and introduce the relevant situation so as to cope better with the probable investigation.
