US's tire import from China decreased 10.8% in Q1'2018

In March 2018, US imported 19,020,000 units of tires, year-on-year decreasing 8.9%, monthly increasing 2.7%.

Dividedly, there were 11,830,000 units of passenger tire imported from China, yearly decreasing 10%, monthly increasing 6.3%; there were 3,440,000 units of truck&bus tire, yearly growing 0.4%, and monthly up 8.5%.

In March, there were 3,780,000 units of tires imported from China to US, year-on-year down by 10.8%, and month-on-month down by 10%.

Dividedly, passenger tire yearly yearly decreased 35.5%, and monthly decreasing 24.1%; truck&bus tire yearly surged 145.5%, and monthly increasing 11.3%; bicycle tire yearly decreased 2.5% and monthly decreasing 6.7%. 

In the first quarter, US imported 56,600,000 units of tires in all, yearly down by 3.7%, and only imported 13,150,000 units of tires from China, yearly decreasing 4.6%.
