Tire output declines in Putian city of Fujian province

Tire output in Putian city of Fujian province continued to decrease on a yearly basis in Oct.

Statistics show that in Oct. 2017, the output of rubber cover tires in Putian declined 2.6% year on year to 1.36 million.

In Sept. the city’s tire output dropped 8.4%.

In the first 10 months, Putian’s tire output grew 7.9% year on year to 13.96 million.

With respect to the monthly figures, the city’s tire output came to a peak of 1.73 million in Mar.

Giti Tire’s Putian factory is a major tire producer in the city as well as an important production base of Giti in China.
