Tire export to bilateral agreement countries surges in Qingdao

China’s tire export to the countries that have bilateral agreement with China, such as Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iran, has surged to 56 batches during January to July in 2012, year-on-year up 154.55%, and created 3.521 million dollars of export value, yearly jumping 195.71%, according to statistics from the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Qingdao, Shandong Province.

Amongst, the tire exported toEgyptsaw biggest increase, up 254.17%, taking half of the total export value.

The types of tires exported toEgypt,Ethiopia,Iranare tubeless radial tire, non-radial truck tires and OTR tires respectively, occupying 64.51% of the total export value.

Analysts said the reasons forQingdao's tire export to the bilateral agreement countries to increase are: 1. The countries that established bilateral relationship pay more attention to each other, which bring more optimized export environment 2. The Inspection and Quarantine Bureau strengthens inspection on the exported products, which greatly improved the products’ quality.
