China may punch on waste tire rubber utility program
Recently, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) held arecycle material technology communication conference in Beijing. The ministry proposed waste tire rubber utility project as a key program in China’s recycling industry in the meeting.
On February 7, MIIT just released “Catalogue on advanced technologies applicable to comprehensive utilization of renewable resources (first)” .
There are 95 technologies listed in the “Catalogue”, and 23 are related to waste tire rubber’s comprehensive utility, said Li Hongliang, a researcher in MIIT.
Previously, MIIT also issued “Guidance on comprehensive utilization of waste tires”, organized drafting of “Tire retreading industry access conditions (drafts)” and “Comprehensive utilization of waste tire industry access conditions (drafts)”, which is soliciting opinions from the public now.
