China releases new rubber tariff from 2020, not containing rubber production

On December 18, China released new tariff rules from 2020.
To expand Chinese import and adjust import composition, China decided to decrease import tariff on over 850 items since January 1 2020.
Amongst, tariff on natural rubber and other tire productions didn't change.
Chinese tire manufactures imported millions of natural rubber every year. And China's Rubber Industry Association has called on cancel import tariff on natural rubber to reduce domestic tire producers' cost.
The association said that to avoid tariff, Chinese tire producers has to use synthetic rubber to produce tires, which has badly prevent tire industry's development, and reduce production competition in overseas market.
