Lv Haitao: "Future Trend is Small Car"

With the hot sales of model 3008, Dongfeng Peugeot had released another car of its plan in Guangzhou auto show, a brand new model SUV 2008. Along with 310 before the show, 2 small cars form Dongfeng Peugeot has attracted the attention from the industry.

Lv Haitao, the general manager of Dongfeng Peugeot, said, " To enlarge the market of small cars is the trend in China and can meet customers' requirement" . He also emphasizes small cars, especially small SUV have large development space. The release of SUV 2008 will contribute to small cars & SUV market of Dongfeng Peugeot.

Beginning with the plan of 240 thousand and increasing to over 270 thousand shows Dongfeng Peugeot is getting into rapid development. Mr. Lv said there is no suspense for Dongfeng Peugeot to achieve the target and even overfull it. Also he said, “The sales increase of Dongfeng Peugeot in next 3 years must be over 26%."

Early this year, Dongfeng Peugeot released its 3-year plan of doubling sales. According to this plan, the sales of Dongfeng Peugeot next year must be 345 thousand. Mr. Lv said, there will be 3 brand new models launching into the market including the 2008 in April. For the network, the Plan of Dongfeng Peugeot is to increase 200 4S shops from 2012 to 2015 and reaches 500 shops totally.

Mr. Lv said, Dongfeng Peugeot will keep focusing on the problem of brand influence as to fulfill the Plan.
