Six industrial standards for synthetic rubber become effective

Six industrial standards for synthetic rubber became effective since Jan. 1, 2018.

The Synthetic Rubber Technology Division of China National Technical Committee for the Standardization of Rubber and Rubber Product has constituted these standards.

Following are the six industrial standards and relevant information

Emulsion Styrene-Butadiene Rubber with oil (SBR) 1712 SH/T 1626-2017, replaces SH/T 1626-2005;

Determination of micro-structure of butadiene rubber, Infrared spectroscopy SH/T 1727-2017, replaces SH/T 1727-2004;

Thermoplastic elastomeric styrene-isoprene block copolymer (SIS) SH/T 1812-2017;

Low polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon oil-extended styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) 1723 SH/T 1813-2017;

Determination of vanadium in ethylene-propylene copolymer and Ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer, spectrophotometry SH/T 1814-2017;

Determination of residual monomers and other organic components in synthetic rubber latex, Capillary column headspace gas chromatography SH/T 1815-2017.
