SBS Capacity utilization keeps stable in China
As road construction entered peak season in Aug. and the profitability of SBS was well, the capacity utilization of producers kept stable.
A survey was conducted with 12 producers being investigated, including four state-owned enterprises, one Taiwan enterprise, two joint ventures, and five private enterprises, with total capacity at 1.09 million tons.
Statistics show that in Aug., the average capacity utilization of SBS equipment was 74.31%, down 0.14 percentage points from July, or down 14.99 percentage points from the same period a year ago.
Among the 12 sample enterprises, capacity utilization of four producers declined from July, that of four climbed from July, and four kept unchanged, with each group accounting for 33% of the total.
