Rubber producer to build Huizhou into world’s leading liquid SBR production base
Huizhou LCY Rubber Co., Ltd. intends to build the city into a world’s leading liquid styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) production base.
Currently, the company has injected capital for technical reformation to improve SBR quality and will gradually move the R&D tasks from Taiwan base to Huizhou.
The company was located in Huizhou Daya Bay Economic and Technologcial Development Zone, Guangdong province.
The hydrogenation liquid SBR program of Huizhou LCY Rubber started pilot operation in end-June.
LCY Group is the largest solvent and rubber manufacturer in Taiwan.
The group has deployed three liquid SBR production bases in the U.S., Taiwan and Huizhou, with an overall capacity of 500,000 tons, accounting for 19% of global market share.
The output value of Huizhou base stands at 70% of the group’s total with an annual capacity of 350,000 tons.
