Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone certified as national intelligent industrial park

Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone was officially certified as a national intelligent industrial park by the National Development and Reform Commission.

As one of the 40 intelligent manufacturing programs, the rubber and tire intelligent manufacturing program was settled in the industrial park.

More than 10 intelligent tire factories

NDRC has chosen three high-tech development zones in the east, central and west of the country ,respectively, as pilot intelligent manufacturing industrial parks, and Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone is the only one in east China.

An official with Qingdao Economic and Information Technology Committee said there are 82 large rubber and tire producers in Qingdao West Coast New Area, with the intelligent rubber and tire manufacturing industry among the top of the country.

In Qingdao, more than a dozen intelligent tire factories were built according to the standards of Industry 4.0.

Sailun Jinyu Group Co., Ltd. and Doublestar Group Co., Ltd. were involved in China's "pilot intelligent tire factories" in 2015 and "pilot intelligent green tire manufacturers" in 2016, respectively.

Qingdao Sentury Tire Co., Ltd. was involved in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's new model application programs of intelligent manufacturing in 2016 and was the only tire producer.

Qingdao government released incentive policies for companies to launch technical reform.

Exploiting new operating models

Leading by MESNAC Co., a robot system jointly developed by a number of domestic universities passed the inspection by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The system has been piloted and applied by some large tire producers, including Sailun Jinyu Group.

The key tasks of the intelligent manufacturing industrial parks are promoting intelligent reform of production, building intelligent platform, facilitating intelligent international cooperation and innovating intelligent business model.

Doublestar Group and Sailun Jinyu Group are the representatives in the park exploiting new operating models.

Doublestar has focused on constructing intelligent production processes, which can be seen in its Industry 4.0 intelligent factory.

Sailun Jinyu took the lead in adopting the management-control-integrated network system and constructed an intelligent tire logistics and stocking base.
