The General Administration of Customs has released the export data for 2016.
Last year, China's export of truck and bus tires totaled 3,312,700 tons, up 5.9% year on year.
Among the top 10 tire exporters, the export volumes of Shandong Xingyuan International Trade Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Doublestar Tire Industry Co., Ltd. increased sharply by 19.29% and 10.71%, respectively.
That of Shanghai Tire and Rubber (Group) Co., Ltd. (Double Coin) dropped 22.9%.
Since Feb. 2016, the U.S. officially launched anti-dumping and anti-subsidy probe against truck and bus tires imported from China.
Double Coin was the mandatory respondent enterprise of the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy appeal and was in the teeth of the storm.
