Subsidies of New Energy Vehicles in Beijing 2017 Falls

Recently, Beijing Municipal Science&Technology Commission, Beijing Finance Bureau, and Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology invited relevant car enterprises to hold a special meeting. The meeting approved the local subsidy standards for the new energy passenger vehicles in Beijing in 2017, which is consumers and car enterprises most concerned about. Gasgoo learns from relevant leaders that the local subsidy standard in Beijing is 50% of the central financial subsidy of each vehicle in 2017 and that the total subsidy of the state and the municipal does not exceed 60% of sales price .

At the end of last year, four ministries issued a formal notice on the adjustment of subsidy policy for the application of new energy vehicles. In addition to fuel cell vehicles, central and local subsidy standards and limits for various models in 2019 and 2020 fall 20% on the basis of existing standards. In 2016, if you buy pure electric model with mileage between 100 km to 150 km, the subsidy is 25,000 yuan; if you purchase pure electric model with mileage between 150 km and 250 km, the subsidy is 45,000 yuan; if you purchase pure electric model with mileage over 250km, the subsidy is 55,000 yuan. In 2017, an overall decline is seen in the subsidies standards.

Chain reaction is the overall decline in local subsidy, with a minimum of only 10,000 yuan. Plus state subsidies, if you purchase pure electric vehicles in Beijing, the minimum subsidy is 30,000 yuan, and the highest subsidy is 66,000 yuan. Compared with 2016, the minimum and maximum shrink respectively by 20,000 yuan and 44,000 yuan.

Beijing Finance Bureau stressed that the amount of subsidies for small passenger vehicles is based on the year of its license plate. The specific subsidy standard will be announced to the public in the near future.
