RFID tire tags international standard formulation makes further progress
The fourth conference on the four international standards for RFID tire tags was held in Marseille, Germany.
During the conference, the working panel discussed the votes for Standard 09 and 10 and reached an agreement. The two standards were submitted for drafting on Oct. 7.
The working panel also fully discussed Standard 11 and 12.
Over 30 experts from nine countries participated in the conference.
The 11 Chinese representatives are from China Wheel Organization for Standardization, MESNAC Co., Ltd., Michelin (China), Pirelli Tires, Shenzhen Genrace Technology Co., Ltd., Triangle Tire, Sailun Jinyu Group, and Wanli Tire.
The standard formulation working panel scheduled to hold the fifth conference in Rome, Italy, in Jan. 2018 to further discuss Standard 11 and 12.
