Chinese Development and Reform Commission is formulating the policy towards monopoly and Dongfeng Nissan might be punished next
As reporter knows, Chinese Development and Reform Commission investigated Dongfeng Nissan in September 2014 and the result might be announced in the near future. Besides, Chinese Development and Reform Commission is formulating the policy towards monopoly and related work will be activated in the middle of June.
The possible result of punishing Dongfeng Nissan means this Chinese and Japanese joint venture will be 5th auto brand punished after Benz and other 4 auto enterprises.
In September, 2014, Chinese Development and Reform Commission announced the punishment towards Kreisler and Audi and confirmed the investigation on Benz and another Japanese auto enterprise in Guangzhou, which indicated Dongfeng Nissan.
From August, 2014 to May, 2015, there had been BMW, Audi, Chrysler, Benz and their distributors, including Sumitomo and Denso, being punished because of monopoly. The total amount was as high as 1.658 billion CNY and the result of Dongfeng Nissan still remained unknown.
