Malaysia 2012 natural rubber production down 7.6% at 920,000 t

Malaysia's natural rubber production was likely to fall 7.6% to 920,000 metric tons in 2012, said the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC).
The association predicted earlier in November 2012 thatMalaysia's 2012 annual production would reach 950,000 tons, a 4.6% drop from 2011.
The ANRPC figures are based on data provided by member governments. ANRPC member countries account for more than 90% of global rubber production.
