Guangrao implements higher tire standards

Guangrao Bureau of Quality Supervision recently released two standards - "Energy Saving and Consumption Reducing Standards for Rubber Tire Industry" and "Testing Methods of Truck Tire's Durability and High Speed Performances", which are stricter that national standards.
For example, according to Guangrao’s new standards, the enterprises, which consume over 800 tons of standard coal per unit, are not permitted to enter the market.
Guangrao is an important tire production base in Shandong Province in China. Nowadays, the new standards have been put into trial implementation in some of the tire enterprises, which is believed to improve rubber tire industry's energy saving and consumption reducing level and enhance its competitiveness.
