Thai government expects Chinese investment in Thai's rubber industry

Thailand’s government expects that Chinese enterprises could expand investment inThailand, especially in its rubber industry, auto parts, electronics industries and green energy industries and so on, according to a report by Xinhuanet.com.
Thailandis the largest rubber producer in the world. However, only 10% of Thai-produced rubber could be used in domestic production, and others are used to be exported as raw material.
At the same time,Chinais Thailan’s largest rubber importer, and posted Bt153.27 bln of import value, taking 38.6% ofThailand’s total export value.
