Chinese export maintains weaken growth in H1' 2018

On July 25, China's Customs released series of export data, which showed that Chinese tire export maintained slightly increase in the first half year of 2018.

There were 39,940,000 units of tire exported from China in June, year-on-year decreasing 5.8%, month-on-month reducing 2,270,000 units. And its export value yearly slid 8.2% down.

Statistics showed that tire export also declined in March, besides in June.

In the first six months of 2018, there has been 236 million units of tire export, year-on-year increasing 0.8%, keeping weaken growth compared to the same period of 2017.

Actually, Chinese accumulated tire export growth declined from February's 12% to June's 0.8% during February to June in 2018. Comparing to over 10% of growth in 2017, China's tire export is showing worsen situation.

As Chinese most important export destination, US and Europe has triggered international trade war with China. If OTHER COUNTRIES following their steps, Chinese tire export will continue declining, analysts said.
