CCTV Program Tests Tire Performance, Chinese Brands Stand Out

The Proposition of Consumption program of China Central Television lately conducted a number of tests over the performance of vehicle tires.

During the tests, the performance of Chinese tire brands stood out and some of the products even outperformed renowned overseas brands.

The Chinese branded tires included Jinyu YH18, Landsail LS388, Doublestar DH02, Triangle TH201, Chaoyang RP26, and Prinx HH1, etc.

The six tire models had diverse designs and performances.

Jinyu YH18

Jinyu YH18 had three unified stiffener ribs and 3D tread design, which increase effective contact area to the maximum and enhance the control and stability when making turns.

The other four forward grooves make the draining faster and enhance the braking and griping capacities.

Moreover, the unique asymmetric tread pattern lowers the noise and increases comfortability.

Landsail LS388

Landsail LS388 is a green environmentally protective model characterised by mute, energy-saving, comforable.

The tread of the tire adopts a special silicon oil formula that lowers rolling resistance effectively. The structure of the casing adopts advanced materials to strengthen the rigidity of the tread and to lower the weight.

The design of the tread pattern effectively lowers the voice with an internationally leading standard.

In addition, the design of the draining groove is capable of destroying the water film on the wet road, preventing the cars skidding during the drive.

Triangle TH201

TH201was a new product rolled out by Triangle Tyre Co., Ltd., its asymmetric tread pattern enhances the control and performance on wet road to the maximum.

The design of tread pattern with larger angle provides balanced driving and quiet riding experiences.

The block-shape pattern in the middle enables better stability of vehicles under heavy loads.

Doublestar DH02

The tire model adopts central-enhanced stiffener ribs and intensive small patterns to enhance the loading capacity of tires and make the driving experience more comfortable and stable. 

The outgoing transverse grooves enhance the griping capacity and ensure steering stability.

Chaoyang RP26

The special tread pattern design is shockproof and ensures stable driving. The even deployment of patterns lowers the noise effectively.

In addition, the tire adopts nano-materials from Germany and high-performance white carbon black from France, which lower the rolling resistance effectively.

Prinx HH1

The stagger tread pattern of Prinx HH1 lowers noise of the tires; the vertical grooves in the middle ensure better steering; the knife-shape grooves on both sides ensure better draining capacity, and the small transverse grooves ensure better braking capacity.
