China Releases Design for Tire Label
China Rubber Industry Association held a conference reviewing the Tire Label Classification Standards on May 11-12 in Wuxi, Jiangsu province.
The designs of labels for tire classification had been decided and released at the conference for the first time.
At the conference, attendees discussed the Tire Label Classification Standards (Draft), Management Rules of China Rubber Industry Association on Tire Labels, the application as well as management data platform of China’s tire labels.
To facilitate tire industrial upgrade and product restructure, increase the proportion of high-performance tires, satisfy consumers’ demand, marking the performance and grades of tires with labels has become a necessary.
Experiences drew from other countries show that the management of tire labeling system is a most significant task.
With the rolling out of Tire Label Classification Standards (Draft) and other relevant regulations, China will soon enforce the tire labeling mechanism.
