#Two Sessions# Proposal from business tycoon (3)

China should promote RFID (radio frequency identification tag) on domestic tires as soon as possible, said Yuan Zhongxue, chairman of MESNAC, on 2015 NPC and CPPCC sessions inBeijing.

If tires are equipped with RFID tags, tires will become more intelligent, said Yuan, because people could track the tires through the supply chain, at stores and by owners, such as fleet managers, which could prevent fake or packaging tires flowing into the market.

Compared popularized bar codes with a variety of RFID solutions, RFID is enabled a greater recognition rate of unique identifiers within dusty manufacturing environments than bar codes, and that the technology could also allow for the storing of sensor data, such as temperatures and pressure conditions.

In recent years, RFID tags have legislated into laws inU.S.,Japan, EU,Koreaand many other nations and districts. So, Yuan suggested to developing a low-cost RFID tag as soon as possible, and help domestic tire manufactures catching up advanced international technology.
