SHFE rubber futures ends lower for 4th straight session

Rubber futures traded on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) ended lower on Wednesday (July 2, 2014), down for the fourth straight session.

The most actively traded contract for September 2014 delivery ended at 14,815 yuan/metric ton, down 55 yuan or 0.37% from the previous settlement.

The rubber prices on the SHFE have reached 10-day low, analysts say, expecting short-term resistance at 14,800 yuan per tonne.
