SHFE rubber rebounds, up 1.35%

Rubber futures traded on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) gained momentum around midday and settled 1.35% higher on Wednesday (October 31, 2012), tracking brisk gains on the regional equity market.

The most actively traded contract for January 2013 delivery ended at 24,780 yuan/metric ton, up 330 yuan.

Fresh cues are expected fromChina's official PMI data due Thursday. Investors would also focus on theUSnon farm payrolls data to be released later on Friday.
