Use of second hand tyres in the vehicles is on the increase but user is unaware that these tyres, because of their low quality, may cause accidents and loss of life. The second-hand tyres are not compatible for using in the vehicles due to their low quality and their less capability to maintain quality drive to the motorists, resulting in traffic accidents and loss of precious lives.

Used tyres have been made available largely in the city by the roadside tyre vulcanizers and people in middle and low income group prefer to buy these due to cost difference.
