Top 10 sedan models by February sales in China

According to the sales data released by the China Passenger Car Association, affected by the Spring Festival, the top 6 sedan models by February sales all suffered year-on-year sales decreases, among which the top 5 sedan models saw year-on-year sales decline over 10%.

The top 2 models by monthly sales were still Lavida and Corolla compared with the previous month. However, their rankings got reversed this time. SAIC-VW's Lavida surpassed FAW-Toyota's Corolla to become the sales champion with 25,460 units delivered last month.

The models ranking third to fifth all achieved ranking improvements over the previous month. Especially, New Excelle moved up 6 places to the third with 18,695 units handed over in February.

Joint venture brands kept dominating the sedan list with 7 models under JV brands entering into the list. However, three models under China's self-owned brands achieved quite good performances last month. They are Emgrand EC7, Baojun 310 and Vision, ranking fifth, seventh and tenth respectively. Both Emgrand EC7 and Vision come from Geely Auto. It is noteworthy that Baojun 310 and Vision had not entered into the top 10 sales list in January this year.
