China October auto sales ups 2.82%

The data from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows the sales and output volume are both over 1.9 million, remaining slight growth on year-on-year basis. The growth of auto sales and output volume in first 10 months remains slight decrease.

The detailed data is as follows: In October, the output volume is 2,044,200, increasing by 1.85% than last month and by 6.69% on year-on-year basis; the sales volume is 1,987,200, increasing by 0.18% than last month and by 2.82% on year-on-year basis. Among the data, the output volume of passenger vehicles is 1,757,800, increasing by 1.94% than last year and by 10.43% on year-on-year basis; the sales volume of passenger vehicles is 1,708,900 increasing by 0.76% than last month and by 6.43% on year-on-year basis. The output volume of commercial vehicles is 286,400, increasing by 1.31% than last year and declining by 11.69% on year-on-year basis; the sales volume of commercial vehicles is 278,300 declining by 0.76% than last month and by 14.89% on year-on-year basis.

In first 10 months of 2014, the output and sales volume of auto industry are 19,270,100 and 18,988,100, increasing by 7.93% and 6.58%. The data for passenger cars are 16,143,900 and 15,864,400, increasing by 11.2% and 9.76% and 3,126,200 and 3,123,700 for commercial vehicles, declining by 6.3% and 7.08% on year-on-year basis.
