China’s auto sales reported a year-on-year increase of 13.4% in April, up from the 11% growth rate registered last month, according to the latest statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on Thursday.
Specifically, passenger vehicle sales in April came to 1.44 million units, a jump of 13% year on year, said the CAAM.
In the first four months of 2013, a total of 7.27 million motor vehicles were sold across the country, representing a year-on-year increase of 13.2%.
