China ’s light-duty car sales are expected to grow by 8 percent year on year this year, reaching a total of 19.5 million units, according to the latest report from a consultancy firm LMC Automotive.
there have been 9.5 million light duty cars sold in China in the first half year of 2012, a mild gain of 6 percent year on year, the report said.
LMC expected that more favorable subsidy policies for rural buyers woud be introduced in the second half of 2012, which could consequently give a boost to light-duty car sales.
