Downstream demand for carbon white slightly improving

Downstream demand for carbon white has taken a turn for the better recently, said Lu Zhongkui, board chairman of Shuanglong Chemical (300108.SZ), on Wednesday (June 26, 2013) at an online meeting held by quanjing.com.
At present, the operating rate of carbon white plants in Wanzai county of eastern China’s Jiangxi province reached nearly 60 percent, according to Lu.
Based in northeast China’s Jilin province, Shuanglong is mainly engaged in the R&D, manufacture, and sales of carbon white.
